Monsoon is expected to hit Kerala by June 5th and as a hint, summer is becoming unbearable in India, off course, in Pune too. I am a great lover of tender coconut and because of which, I love summer too 🙂
When we are on Pune-Mangaluru road, we try to make it possible we stop at Maravanthe beach on National Highway 66 (Old NH 17). It is the beauty of Maravanthe beach (here and here) and the sweet tender coconuts that drag us….
Watching the quick hands of the seller who pick the best coconut and cuts it to open…
Hmm, sweet coconut water of the Indian western coast is ready to sip! Slrup!
When the seller halves the coconut for its cream, I am curious about the knives they use…
Tasty coconut cream ready to eat using a natural coconut spoon… Yummmm!
It feels heavenly to enjoy the taste of tender coconut in the beaches, isn’t it?
