Look at what we harvested this Monsoon! First to show up was the sweet watermelon that I showed in the last post.
Every cucumber seed I had sown, sprouted. But, I had to kill 🙁 many of them who would never allow others to grow. Cucumber flowered very soon, but no female flower got fruitful… When I saw the first tender cucumber (pic 1) after a long time of losing hope, I was very very happy! It grew quit large too (pic 2)! Thereafter two more small cucumbers we harvested (pic 3 & pic 4).

I didnt know the home grown cucumbers are round too. The mangalore cucumbers are damn cool, I had always seen them in the ripe format, but this looks more alluring 🙂
And they are in different shapes and sizes.
