Goa – A Photo Travel

A photo travel to Goa to get pampered by nature with sea, sand, sun and sky around.

Traveling is healing. Traveling is refreshing both of mind and body. Traveling is spiritual, connecting with our true self. As our little wonder is yet too small to plan for an actual holiday with her, we are on a photo travel to Goa. Would you like to join us?

Traveling by train

Traveling by train in the coastal Karnatakais bliss. We would already be in the holiday mood looking at the picturesque views of green paddy fields and blue rivers surrounded by coconut trees with hills at the background… Our little one would be excited to hear the chuk chuk sound of the train.

Accommodation at a peaceful area

As we arrive to Margao, we would stay in a quiet villa like Nuala Vuala Villa that connects us to Margao. This villa is nearby calm Betalbatim beach, busy Colva beach, andColva city. We will have a relaxing walk in the garden in free time. We would explore the pine groves nearby which are uncommon in Goa.

And the next day’s outing would be to the beautiful Colva beach where we would play water sports along with our little one.

Cola beach & boat cruise

We would start our third day with quiet Colabeach. Our little wonder would love to play in sand and we would join her in her activities. The hills adjacent to the beach remind us of the Suratkal beachand would definitely climb up to enjoy the bird’s eye view of the beach. Then we would come back to the crowded Colva beach for boating!

Sailing on J24 Sailboat in Goa

Holiday in Goa without boating is not done! A classic sailboat like J24 Sailboatgives an adventurous touch to our vacation. What a fun cruising with an 8 knot speed! Our little one would love this wonderful experience.

Terekhol river, Kerim, North Goa

We would reach Kerim to watch delightful sight of Terekhol River and to visit nearby places on the day 4. This hidden beauty of Goa does not seem to be known to the most tourists. I am happy that Goa is still close to nature despite of being an eye candy of tourists. Thanks a lot to Mr. Sandeep Nishad, a skillful professional photographer in Goa, who shared this gorgeousness of nature with me. In fact, all the photographs of Goa in this post are taken by him except of Dudh Sagar.

Dudh Sagar Falls & more

Dudhsagar Waterfall in December 2013

We sighted Dudh Sagar waterfall (one of the tallest falls in India on Mandovi or Mahadayi river on Goa and Karnataka border) while traveling from Pune to Mangaluru by a day train in December 2013. The four-tiered falls was spectacular even though it was about to dry up. We developed a strong desire to come back on a trip when the falls is full. On the 5th day of our tour, we would enjoy the magnificent Dudh Sagar’s breathtaking view along with our little wonder.

We would then visit the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park where the Dudh Sagar falls is located.

North Goa Beaches and more

We would begin the day 6 with Mandrem beach. We aim to watch the famous Olive Ridley marine turtles in this secluded beach.

From Mandrem beach, we would be heading to another quiet beach Ashvem. Our plan is to walk a little through the forest, to see typical Goan villages and Morjai temple

Evening and Sunset view at Sinquerim Beach and Fort Agauda, Goa

By evening we would be at Fort Aguada watching the sun setting in the Arabian Sea. After the sun sets, we would enjoy the view of Sinquerim beach.

A day on a yacht

Spending a day on Fairline Squadron 42, a two-cabin flybridge yacht, will be a dream come true experience for me. Watching the serene sea and the dancing waves for whole day would be a great exercise for the mind! Filled with tranquillity, we would be back to home on the 7th night.
Spending time with loved ones in a place like Goa with green friends, sea, sand, sun and sky! Sometimes in crowded area and sometimes in quiet place… What a refreshing photo travel it is! Hope you all enjoyed too! See you!
